The Western Harbour Tunnel is a major transport infrastructure project being delivered in Sydney, providing a new road crossing beneath Sydney Harbour and improving connectivity between Sydney's northern and western transport corridors. SIMPEC has been engaged to deliver the Mechanical package, providing specialist mechanical installation services to support completion of critical tunnel infrastructure systems. The works form part of the tunnel's operational readiness and commissioning program, ensuring key mechanical systems are installed, tested and prepared for safe operation.

SIMPEC's scope includes the provision of project management,supervision, skilled labour, fabrication, plant and equipment required toexecute the RW-1704 Mechanical works within the tunnel ventilation facilitiesand associated infrastructure.
