SIMPEC was awarded two separate construction packages that consisted of new mechanical equipment that was integrated into the existing processing plant. SIMPEC performed all SMP and E&I works for the construction of the project.

Scope of Work

SIMPEC’s scope of work includes all SMP and E&I for the following:

Separable Portion 1 (SP1);

Regenerative thermal oxidiser
Two calciner off-gas scrubbers, Stack
RTO discharge heat exchanger
RTO combustion air fan, RTO air feed fan
RTO instrument air receiver
6 circulation pumps, Air mixer
Associated ducting, expansion joints, piping and structural

Separable Portion 2 (SP2);

Effluent Tank and associated agitator
Two Scrubber Effluent Transfer Pump
Scrubber Effluent Tanker Export Pump
Scrubber Effluent Area Sump Pump
3 Calciner Off-Gas Scrubber 1 Circulating Pump Seal Water Pots
3 Calciner Off-Gas Scrubber 2 Circulating Pump Seal Water Pots
2 Scrubber Effluent Transfer Pump Seal Water Pots
Scrubber Effluent Storage Tank Heat Exchanger
Relocation of Stack ID Fan
Remove and install new Calciner Gas Skid , RTO Gas Skid
Associated Ducting, Expansion joints, Piping and Structural
Associated Electrical panels and cabling, MCC mod, VSDs and instrumentations for SP1 and SP2.
